Gig Information

A truly incredible vocal talent, Miloux has spent the past three years honing her unique spin on beats-driven ambient electronica.

After years singing in choirs and training in jazz, Rebecca Melrose began work as Miloux, and began running her pop sensibilities and jazz training through an electronic filter. The result – an unpredictable mix of an incredible voice, and diverse and exciting instrumentation.

She'll be joined by Elecro-Pop, RnB, Trip-Hop songwriter WCB.

It feels as though Auckland’s William Cooper Barling (aka WCB) is on the cusp of something special. Dropping tracks that boast deep atmospheric production and Barling’s urgent, raw voice, the singer-songwriter is combining hyper dynamic R&B, soul and electronica like no-one else, forging ahead through new musical territory as he goes. “Unique” might be an overused way of describing emerging acts these days, but it’s hard to find a word that suits Barling better. - Lee Coleman, The Brag
