Round Buddah’s Acting Strange!
Round Buddah is playing a string of shows across New Zealand and Australia celebrating the release of their forthcoming single, Acting Strange. The song heralds a new sophisticated sound for Round Buddah, while still preserving the cheekiness of their debut EP, People and Trees.
The South Island leg of the tour kicks off in Queenstown at Yonder.
Round Buddah had an epic end to 2017, with a sell-out EP release show in Auckland, and a slot on New Years Eve at Rhythm & Vines. 2018 sees the band growing more and more ambitious, collaborating with other artists, exploring new sonic realms and venturing across the ditch to the land of Oz.
The Round Buddah live set has grown from an instrumental hip-hop trio to the current lineup, featuring a soulful singer and a sharp-minded MC. Their songs tell stories about sex, drugs and global warming.
