$10 - 8pm
Sludge ensemble YARNSPINNER, have been around for a couple of years now based in the swampy lands of Christchurch and are in the midst of recording their debut album. Known for their oddly low tunings and groovy riffs, spinning a yarn is always a good time. This is their first excursion to the North Island and are looking forward to bringing the riffs.

OPIUM EATER released their album ENNUI in the later months of 2017 and have been hailed by music blogs as being absorbing, animated, and emotionally rewarding. One of the standout live acts out of New Zealand in the last few years.

Based out Palmerston North, DICK TRACY features hard rock roots, repetitive melodic phrasing, extensive vamping, blues influences, a vocal-centric aesthetic and ultimately embodies the anything-goes spirit of classic rock with their heavy stoner-influenced grooves.

ELIM. A cacophony of sorts. Born from a mutual appreciation of semi-overlapping musical genres and styles. Some of the songs make complete sense while others are like Jackson Pollock got a hold of a guitar, a bass and some drums, and mindlessly splattered notes on a stave - and that’s ok man!
