Join us for a mid-winter subterranean blues breaker with some original local live music. The one-two punch of Shady Brain Farm bring their power-pop sensibilities to the stage. High energy, killer hooks, and melodies stewed a la Brian Wilson and Matthew Sweet, SBF are sure to draw you to the dance floor even as you attempt to quaff that first drink.
Warming up the stage for them is Cold Harvest Trust, who bring their piano driven roots-rock. Influenced by The Band, Harry Nilsson and Elvis Costello, this four piece has been honing their signature sound from the back channels of Woodhill forest to the cave of Earwig analog studios, Birkenhead.
Kicking off the evening is the mysterious and alluring Vox Venus. Hailing from 'the inner realms of outer space', Vox Venus is the brainchild of Heather Bolton. She fuses analog synths, vintage drum machines, autoharp and ukulele to create a truly unique and unforgettable musical experience.
Always a discerning ear, local producer, musician, and owner of Earwig studios, is Darren McShane. Darren will be at the helm as sound engineer for the evening's performances.
There's a little something for everyone, so peel yourself off the couch, leave the binge-watching & screens behind, call your friends, and come out and support some local talent.
Doors open at 7:30. Show begins at 8:15.
Tickets: $10
