Inspired by the life and works of J Dilla, Dillastrate is a collaborative music project between Henare Kaa and Tim Driver.
Born in the dirty south of New Zealand, the duo’s previous collaborative efforts include ahoribuzz and Soulsystem, as well as working individually at an international and national level with an expansive range of musical acts.
The duo combines modern digital sounds with analogue soul, bringing you the best of both worlds. With an intimidating range of styles, from delicate soul to intense electronica and everything in between.
This event is included as part of Dillastrate's Round-Trip Tour of New Zealand 2018, celebrating the release of their new single I Don't Care.
