Fresh off a name change and a bunch of really weird songwriting, Layaround bring their debut single release show to darkroom, supported by local staples St. Peter's Thursday, as well as the darkroom debut of Supercub. Get on down for a night of weird and wild Ōtautahi music, this one's gonna be a lot of fun.
Saint Peter's Thursday are a dead filthy grunge rock trio born in Christchurch. Dead is an adjective, we are very much alive. Would you like to party with us?
Indie band made up of 4 losers and their friend Fran. Supercub tries their best to make some Grove-inspired rock. Complete with some tight covers from the likes of Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and The Strokes. Pretentious? Yes. Good at their instruments? No. Feeling lonely?
Layaround are an Ōtautahi based indie band playing some slow songs and some fast songs. They're all loud, though.
