Video: The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - The Ballad Of Joe Buck

Wednesday 5th August, 2015 9:59AM
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, who will be playing the last show of their New Zealand tour in Auckland tonight, have unveiled a new video for the single 'The Ballad Of Joe Buck'. According to Spencer, the song title is a reference to a character played by John Voight in 1969 film Midnight Cowboy, and is about a legendary record label A&R guy. The video is as chaotic as the album the track is lifted from, Freedom Tower: No Wave Dance Party 2015, splicing together footage of  hectic live performances, graffiti tagging and a camera-faced character lurking around. Take a look below...

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are playing their final New Zealand show tonight at The Powerstation in Auckland, Head over here for more information.
