Video: Voe - Voe Song

Wellington-based solo artist Voe, aka Rhys Stannard, has rolled out new single 'Voe Song' along with a hypnotic video to accompany it. Penned from the perspective of a young woman who feels disassociated from her environment, Stannard says he aimed to "convey a sense of unease about the past and how when you felt like you didn't belong, or were being misunderstood, it was like someone pulling down the shutters on your thoughts and emotions."

While Stannard performs all parts on the psychedelic track, he has experimented with panning to build a full, stereo sound that he says was influenced by his addiction to George Harrison and his taste in production.
