Red, green and gold took over The Trusts Arena in Auckland on Saturday as Raggamuffin IX brought together an epic line-up of reggae and hip hop acts from around the globe. The one-day event, which was headlined by legendary Staten Island crew Wu-Tang Clan for their first ever New Zealand appearance, also saw excellent sets from the likes of Inner Circle, Macy Gray, Maxi Priest, UB40, Savage, Xzibit and many more. Photographer Michael Pharaoh went along to soak up the sunny day vibes and took some great shots which you can check out below...

In related news, organisers of Raggamuffin have released a statement about the no-show act The Game, who said he was denied entry to New Zealand once he landed at Customs. Contrary to the rapper's claims, Raggamuffin New Zealand Director Andrew McManus said in a statement: "The Game was 100% approved to enter New Zealand. His management and I know this as fact."

McManus continues, "We honestly believed The Game would honour his obligations to our festival and it was only when we had our people at the airport on Saturday to pick him up to play Raggamuffin IX did we find out he did not board the plane in Dubai. Statements to the contrary are simply not true."

"At no point would we consider trying to swindle our faithful Raggamuffin family. The whole Raggamuffin team and myself personally are deeply disappointed by what happened yesterday and can only promise, if we can sort things out with ‘The Game’ and his management, we will do everything we can to make this up to all of his upset and disappointed fans."
