Live Photos: Deradoorian - Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland

Former Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian flew into Auckland this week for a one-off show at the Kings Arms Tavern in Auckland. The New York-based solo artist, who performs simply under the name Deradoorian, came with her sister in tow - the pair building up simple drum loops which carried their melodic synth lines and harmonising voices as they delivered songs from Angel's debut album The Expanding Flower Planet. Supporting the sisters was local outfit SoccerPractise, who delivered an engaging multimedia set of trip hop-esque songs laced with beautiful bilingual vocals.
