On Saturday Wellington venue Pyramid Club hosted an evening of sonic bliss from local solo musicians Motte and Paperghost. The former, the project of Anita Clark (Devilish Mary and the Holy Rollers, Ragamuffin Children), saw the audience mesmerised by reverb-drenched violin loops and dreamy vocals. Paperghost (aka Zach Webber) provided collages encompassing found sound and sampling as well as traditional acoustic instruments and synthesized soundscapes.
