Weekly Round Up: Friday 7th October

Some great tour announcements came through the pipeline this week!! We were stoked to reveal today that Fred & Toody Cole are making their way to New Zealand for three shows in mid-December. The Veils have lined up a string of shows around the country to coincide with their appearance at Laneway Festival next summer. Green Day announced one Auckland show for May next year. Rapper Vince Staples is returning for two dates in December. And in festival news, the Audio Foundation have revealed the programme for Nowhere! Festival next month. Meanwhile The Specials were announced as the first act for Womad 2017.

In release news, Wellington four-piece Teeth shared new song 'Gangrene' from their upcoming debut album. London-based cromags The Cavemen let loose fresh cut 'I Hope They Drop a Bomb On Me' along with the announcement of their second full-length album. We stumbled across the gorgeous new song/video from recently emerged Wellington project girlboss. And on the streaming front, we were pleased to get our hands on the debut EP Portable Shrine from Earth Tongue.

This week's Caught Live is Cate Le Bon performing 'Are You With Me Now' at a wee sideshow at Golden Dawn on Tuesday night, as filmed by showgoer Paul Robertson...
