Video: Leisure - Got It Bad

Dreamy RnB/pop outfit Leisure have released a new music video for their song ‘Got It Bad’. Directed by Joel Kefali (Katy Perry, Lorde, The Naked & Famous), the video shares a minimal yet striking style which fittingly complements the soulful track. In a statement the Auckland band said of the clip: “With the world in it’s current state of flux, sometimes we just need to switch off and float away from it all”.

‘Got It Bad’ is plucked from Leisure’s self-titled debut album which was released last month and the single has captured global attention thanks to being featured recently in HBO comedy series Insecure. 

Leisure has been nominated for ‘Breakthrough Artist Of The Year’ at this year’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, which take place this Thursday at a ceremony at Vector Arena in Auckland. Head over here for more information and to see the full list of nominees.
