Voting Open For Dirtbag Music Awards 2016

As we announced earlier this month, the Dirtbag Music Awards are returning for their third run in December. The awards, which as with previous years include categories such as Best Cassette Release, Best Bartender Of The Year, Best Live Act and the Robin Williams Fallen Angel Award, have also expanded in scope to include Hip Hop Act Of The Year, Bass and Electronic Artist Of The Year, and Metal/Heavy Artist Of The Year - as well as inviting several other alternative radio stations from around the country to curate their own Artist Of The Year categories.

You can vote below, and winners of will be revealed at a show at Whammy Bar on Friday 9th December, which will include live sets from Best Live Act nominees as well as a special appearance from raucous Japanese group The Wameki. Category winners receive a Dirtbag Award (like the ones pictured above) specially crafted by Wellington-based artist Nick Rule.
