Video: The xx - On Hold

Indie popsters The xx have released a nostalgic, high-school themed video for their dreamy single ‘On Hold’, which is lifted from their upcoming third album I See You. Director Alasdair McLellan, whose 2013 book Ultimate Clothing Company documents modern masculinity in Britain, shot the video on location in Marfa, Texas, where part of I See You was recorded. “We hope this video reflects just some of the warmth and acceptance we have encountered [in the USA]” said The xx of the clip.
