After an unintentionally long trip to South Africa, Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) has finally let loose his new full length album 99th December. The record is being released under the name 99th December, which is the collaborative moniker of Bey and producer Ferrari Sheppard, who handled all the beats.
The nine-song offering is one of a handful of projects that Bey is finishing ahead of his imminent retirement from the world of music and film. Tidal subscribers can soak up the record over here, meanwhile a YouTube stream has been made available for the rest of us...
