Birdstriking Announce Two New Zealand Shows For February

Wednesday 1st February, 2017 9:53AM

Beijing noise rock outfit Birdstriking are winging their way to New Zealand for two shows later this month. The outspoken group, whose lyrics discuss the Chinese media, freedom of information and censorship, started life at now-defunct underground nightclub D-22 - a venue that burst onto the Beijing music scene in 2006 and was modelled on the infamous New York club CBGB. The four-piece are bringing their frenetic live show to New Zealand for two shows only, before they embark on an Australian tour with their Maybe Mars labelmates, Carsick Cars. Here are the details...

Birdstriking

Friday 17th February, Golden Dawn, Auckland w/ Carb On Carb + Daily Keno
Saturday 18th February, Caroline, Wellington w/ Prizegiving + Mr Amish
