Rust Announce Wellington and Hamilton Shows

Aussie punk rockers RUST have lined up two shows on this side of the ditch in addition to their appearance at Punk It Up in Auckland next month. The Sydney four-piece, who fuse elements of oi! and rock 'n' roll drawing on inspiration from AC/DC, Motörhead, The 4 Skins and The Specials, last bought their hectic live show to these shores in 2010. RUST - Australian Street Rock N Roll at its absolute best.

RUST combine Aussie pub rock like The Angels, Rose Tattoo and early AC/DC and fuse it with an explosive cocktail of Motörhead and The 4 Skins. This makes up their very own extremely hazardous brand of overdriven punk rock.

The band have been delivering their brutal live shows across the globe for over a decade now, from urban pubs and suburban clubs, to inner city backstreet punk rock toilets. Tours of Europe the UK, New Zealand and the USA have kept the boys like a well-oiled machine, and they are now five time veterans of the greatest punk rock show on earth; the annual Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK.

RUST are no strangers to the world stage but are equally at home playing on the floor of a dive bar or squat house party. They have gone from strength to strength and become well known amongst punk Rock Royalty, supporting a long list of Punk Rock heavyweights along the way.
