Physical is a fresh Wellington pop duo who met in a karaoke bar in New York’s Chinatown in 2013. Comprised of Julia Catherine Parr of Black City Lights and Nik Brinkman of Junica and Over The Atlantic, the musical collaboration found its feet when the two worked together as part of Brinkman’s Ghostwriter Collective project.

Their tune ‘Islands’ is taken from their forthcoming debut album Ride It Out and features sultry vocal delivery with lyrics about bitter suite love affairs backed by smooth, 90s-esque beats and synth lines. Check it out below…
