Stream The Energetic Debut EP '63.5' From Auckland Duo Blame Thrower

After a taster of tunes thanks to their contribution to an excellent split cassette with retail hardcore pioneers Markdown earlier this year, party-punks Blame Thrower have treated us to their debut EP entitled, 63.5. The four-track offering was recorded, mixed and mastered by Rohan Evans of Arcade Recordings and is just under seven minutes of fun vocal call-and response vocals over upbeat guitar grooves. The EP's title refers to the collective average age of old-soul band members Ciara Bernstein and Luke Penrose. The band offered some insight into the ethos of the EP via their Bandcamp page…

“63.5 is about our collective hopes and dreams (which primarily boil down to playing sweet garage-punk tunes, partying, drinking beer and chewing the fat over a good philosophical debate.”

Check it out below…

Catch Blame Thrower play with Master Blaster, Markdown and Bozo at Smell Ya Later at Whammy Bar on 10th June. Head over here for more information.
