Channeling the likes of Skepta, JME and Wiley, new crew on the block Scraps+Debris tout themselves as ‘the only hope for grime in NZ’ and to be fair, they probably aren’t wrong. The group comprises of Super Villains MC Liam Bree and radio personality/hip hop manager extraordinaire Max Oldfield and with their premier EP being mixed by Eden Jouavel, aka Eno of hip hop keystones Eno x Dirty, the group has a strong pedigree amongst New Zealand’s burgeoning hip hop scene.
