The National Share Gorgeous New Single 'Guilty Party' + Video

After emerging from relative silence last month to announce new album Sleep Well Beast and share lead single 'The System Only Dreams In Total Darkness', The National have now lifted the lid of new cut 'Guilty Party'. The slow-burning track has been unveiled along with a video directed by artist Casey Reas, who said in a statement:

“The video is a dream about memory and the degradation of memory; it’s about distance in time and space ... Time moves forward, but then backward as memory. The image of the two-faced Roman god Janus, who can look into the past and future, is the core visual language.”

The new record will be celebrated with a global tour, and while no Southern Hemisphere dates have yet been revealed we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed. Check out 'Guilty Party' below...
