Parquet Courts' Andrew Savage Shares 'Winter In The South' + Announces Solo Record

You may recognise Andrew Savage as the co-frontman of New York outfit Parquet Courts, but as the dust settles on the band's excellent last album Human Performance, Savage is readying to release his first solo record. Entitled Thawing Dawn, the upcoming 10-song album was laid down in Brooklyn, but judging from the countryfied lead single it's closer to the artist's Texan roots.
