In tour news this week, Chicago's Rise Against announced two headline shows for next February with special guests SWMRS. Sydney electronic duo Boo Seeka are jumping the ditch in November for their first ever shows on these shores. Beat inovator Estere has locked in two shows for August across Wellington and Auckland to celebrate the release of her new cut 'Pro Bono Techno Zone'. Underground noise duo Lskse_ has teamed up with Totems for a four-date tour kicking off later this month. And Auckland indie-folk duo Alae have a string of shows lined up for late August and early September before they jump the ditch for an Aussie tour.


In release news highlights, LA-based expat Vera Ellen emerged with amazing new tune 'Sadness Takes The Gold'. Dictaphone Blues premiered his buoyant new single 'Bully' which is the first taste of a new EP in the works. Coming out of the capital city, Church Of Goya let loose their awesomely abrasive new self-titled EP for streaming. Miss June shared a killer animated video by Dr D Foothead for their latest cut 'I Don't Wanna Be Your Dog'. From further abroad, Nine Inch Nails dropped the driving new single 'Less Than' form their EP out next week. Aphex Twin let loose a new cut sampling his son and showing off a new monophonic synthesizer. Japan's experimental mavericks Boris shared their 23rd album 'Dear' and Detroit's Protomartyr announced a new record and revealed 'A Private Understanding' along with a great video.

This week's Caught Live is Eric B & Rakim performing 'I Know You Got Soul" during the 30th anniversary celebration of their Paid In Full album at the Apollo Theater in Harlem...
