Converge Drop Two New Tracks + Video For 'I Can Tell You About Pain'

Pioneers of post-hardcore Converge have shared a video for ‘I Can Tell You About Pain’, their first new material since 2012’s All We Love We Leave Behind. The 7-inch from which the track is plucked, ‘I Can Tell You About Pain b/w Eve’ is out now digitally via Epitaph and physically via Deathwish Inc and is a taste of what’s to come on the group’s forthcoming ninth album.

The tune features angular riffs being played on both guitar and drums and combines some of the galloping pace seen on AWLWLB with additional glitchy guitar feedback. Directed by Tony Wolski, the video is a nod to Stanley Kubrick and depicts disappearing people, excessive nosebleeds and a mysterious neon-lit angel. Check it out…
