While on these shores, De Dionyso will be playing both solo sets and collaborative improv tunes with the likes of taonga puoro master Rob Thorne, Tom Callwood (of Teeth, The Phoenix Foundation) and Jonny Marks (throat singing maestro of All Seeing Hand) to name a few.

PRESS RELEASE:

Painter and musician, Arrington de Dionyso conjures utopian spaces with multiphonic vocal work & minimalist instrumentation. It's shamanic seance meets rock'n'roll ecstasy. Trance-punk combining traditional ritual trance, electrified experimental approaches, dancehall rhythms, gamelan scales and mystically inspired Indonesian incantations. Shocking and hallucinatory, Arrington de Dionyso brings the magic to New Zealand for the first time, playing solo and with local musical maestros.
