Dunedin noise-punks Die! Die! Die! have dropped a clip for their single 'S I N I S T E R', one of the signature tunes from their well-received latest album Charm. Offensive. The video by director Greg Hodgson features fuzzed-out footage of the tireless band in action while touring Australia, with bleeding colours and semi-abstract visuals conveying the feeling and intensity of the trio's live shows. The group are currently lying low after their recent tour in support of the new record, read singer / guitarist Andrew Wilson and Greg Hodgson's words on the story behind the video and watch it below...

Andrew Wilson: "This video was the last show from our very special Australian tour we just completed with Lachlan (Anderson) rejoining the band permanently. It meant so much we could document it, so when Greg said he had filmed the show I had no idea what to expect as there was lots of crowd surfing but only about thirty people on a Sunday. Im glad such a cool video came from the end of such a special tour and 'S I N I S T E R' is my favourite song from our recent album 'Charm. Offensive.'"

Greg Hodgson: "I love nothing more than a fearless band and these guys have always put everything they have on the line - you just know they are gonna turn up and give every bit of sweat and blood they have!

Over three nights I locked myself away in my studio and created what you see below. All the type etcetera was hand drawn on paper and created with stop motion, I wanted this to be as hand crafted as possible, mistakes and all. At one point my brain interpreted a line of the lyrics as visually needing a man destroying something with a hammer, and that ended up being me outside my studio in the middle of the day throwing one around and trying to stay out of sight of my neighbours. Die! Die! Die! of course were dream clients with a total respect for creative collaboration - they let me do what I wanted to do and encouraged me throughout the process. What more can you ask for, love that band!"
