Mick Jenkins Shares Mixtape 'Or More; The Frustration'

Chicago hip hop artist Mick Jenkins has unveiled a new collection titled Or More; the Frustration, ahead of his forthcoming visit to Aotearoa this March alongside New York rap duo The Underachievers. The eight song EP is a process-oriented affair following on from last year's Or More; The Anxious, with both mixtapes providing an ongoing glimpse into the artist's creative mindset. Jenkins recently vented on the topic of frustration and shared upcoming release plans via his Twitter account, read his words and listen to the new tunes below...

“Just know music is coming. 2017 was definitely year of getting it together for me… Glad I’m in the position to take a year to get shit together..no matter the frustrations really… It’s not a matter of rushing. More just understanding that things aren’t the way you thought they were. Taking that from life and applying it to the *business of creativity. As opposed to just being a creative. But sometimes writers block is writers block... I guess the frustration of it all definitely leads to new creative discoveries..."
