Parquet Courts Drop Dance Punk Single 'Wide Awake' + Video

New York’s indie rock heros Parquet Courts have shared a fresh and funky video called ‘Wide Awake’ - the titular track from their upcoming sixth full length record. The tune is an interesting outlier for the group’s sound, possibly spurred on by the involvement of superstar producer Danger Mouse.

The accompanying Brother Willis-directed clip shows band members wearing matching purple suits and living large in New Orleans during Mardi Gars festival. The clip concludes with throwback, 80s-style lettering introducing each member and an open-ended “to be continued” hinting at the possibility of a sequel. Check it out below...
