Alabama songwriter Jason Isbell (of Drive By Truckers) and his group The 400 Unit dropped by Auckland's The Powerstation last night for a rousing evening of live favourites supported by Silver Scroll-nominated neo-folk artist Nadia Reid. Originally scheduled for a Town Hall appearance, Isbell and band were more than adequately accommodated by the shift in venue as they rattled off tunes from his latest album The Nashville Sound.
