Sleep Return With New Album 'The Sciences'

Fuzz-lovers rejoice, San Jose-based doom metal titans Sleep have shared The Sciences, their first full length opus since the one-track, hour-long sonic saga of Dopesmoker, released all the way back in 2003. From the feedback-heavy titular tune to the epic and terrifyingly-relevant droning vocal tones of ‘Antarcticans Thawed’, The Sciences easily lives up to the towering and titanic legacy that the trio have carved out for themselves over the years. Also, amusing is today's release date of 20th April, written by US-dwellers as 4/20. Here's hoping we see them live on our shores after almost making it to New Zealand, turn up and drop out below...
