Auckland noiseniks Wax Chattels converged upon Auckland's Whammy Bar on Friday for a sold out homecoming show in celebration of their self-titled debut record's release via Flying Nun and Captured Tracks, the final leg of their nationwide tour. They were supported by Bozo, who cut loose a stretched-out set encompassing fuzzy hip-shaking numbers and Twin Peaks-esque slow jams. Wax Chattels didn't disappoint in the slightest, busting out a fully energised set of tunes to a crammed and enthusiastic crowd keen to shake their stuff.
