Smashing Pumpkins Unveil Surreal Video 'Solara'

Chicago alt-rockers Smashing Pumpkins have shared a moody video for their track ‘Solara’. Directed by Nick Koenig, the clip’s stark blue lighting lends vocalist / guitarist Billy Corgan a menacing, Voldermort-esque quality which serves as a skillful accompaniment to the chugging guitars and tom-heavy drum patterns. Things get pretty unsettling as the visuals progress with some heavy and surreal themes being touched on and the disjointed feel of modern life being epitomised well.
