Caught Live: Unknown Mortal Orchestra Play 'Hunnybee' On KEXP
Ruban Nielson's Unknown Mortal Orchestra are currently in the midst of a full scale international tour in celebration of their superb latest record Sex & Food. Between soaking up rays in the northern hemisphere they squeezed in a live session in the studios of Seattle radio station KEXP. Amongst the four song set (which can be watched in full here), the band peeled of a superlative rendition of their feather-light funk single 'Hunnybee' which is a highlight for many from the record. Ruban Nielson's brother and musical collaborator Kody Nielson (whose new solo album Birthday Suites is also a winner) mans the drums while those Rhodes keys sing in this context.
