Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ) is thrilled to welcome 2018' keynote speakers RUBAN NIELSON & ANN HARRISON to the 2018 GOING GLOBAL MUSIC SUMMIT.

Are you ready to rock Auckland? No stranger to Aotearoa, Ruban Nielson of Unknown Mortal Orchestra fame will be speaking to New Zealand audiences ahead of his national tour dates about the rise and rise of UMO and how he has developed his craft over the past decade.

Ann Harrison, music lawyer, author of the music industry bible, ‘Music: The Business’ and one of the "Top 100 most influential women in the music business worldwide (2016)" will bring to the studio her years of experience and advice in the creative world.

And... adding to the already impressive list of curated speakers attending the two-day music conference are international delegates;

GOING GLOBAL welcomes back leading Australian industry figure MAGGIE COLLINS to share her eleven years experience in radio, management and festival programming. And rounding off the list of music industry luminaries is OWEN MALLON, a music agent for leading entertainment talent agency Paradigm Talent who will guide the audience through what's involved in representing the careers of artists.

"New Zealand has a rich musical history and still produces some of the most creative talent in the world, a mind-boggling feat considering the country’s size and population. I’ve seen this first-hand with the steady rise of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and can’t wait to learn more about the new batch of artists making their own mark on New Zealand’s musical legacy." - Jacob Daneman - Pitch Perfect PR

"Success is a long term strategy combined with lots of little decisions made along the way" - Maggie Collins (Big Sound)
