Second Lineup Announced For The Others Way 2018

If you're still reeling from the superb initial lineup of acts announced to play at The Others Way 2018, prepare to be gob-smacked all over again by the second wave of artists set to appear at the multi-venue festival in Auckland this month. Joining an already unmissable selection of international and local talent are Anthonie Tonnon, Bad Friend, Bene, d. Tyrone & k2k, Dead Little Penny, Drorgan, Elroy, Eno x Dirty, French Concession, Green Grove, High Beams (IllBaz + MELODOWNZ + Raiza Biza), Josie Moon, Kraus, Polyester, Purple Pilgrims, TOOMS and Two Farben, as well as an afterparty hosted by the Friendly Potential crew featuring Melbourne's DJ JNETT at Neck Of The Woods. All good things must come with a downside, in this case Troy Kingi and The Galactic Chiropractors will no longer be playing as originally announced due to scheduling commitments.

Along with the above, a special All-Ages Stage has been announced in collaboration with Girls Rock! Camp Aotearoa - more details and tickets will be available later in the week, they'll also be accepting submissions for artists to play. With three weeks to go, excitement is brewing in Auckland, ahead of The Others Way on Friday, August 31. For the fourth year running, Auckland’s K’Rd is set to transform into a pumping haven of the freshest local indie, electronica, hip hop, pop and so much more…

Already featuring such heavyweights and emerging artists as Bailterspace, The Beths, Headless Chickens, Die! Die! Die!, Collision, Superette, Estère, and Melodownz, The Others Way has just announced another 18 acts joining the current lineup.

They join the already stellar lineup (in alphabetical order): Bailterspace, The Beths, Carb on Carb, Church & AP, Collision, COOL TAN, Dbldbl + Stay Foolish, Death and the Maiden, Die! Die! Die! Estère, Girl Boss, The Goon Sax, Gregor, Guy Blackman, Hans Pucket, Headless Chickens, Hopetoun Brown, imugi <이무기, Laura Jean, MEER, MELODOWNZ, Miss June, Mulholland, Soaked Oats, Superette, tei., Vincent H.L, Water and Wax Chattels.

Unfortunately, Troy Kingi and the Galactic Chiropractors will be unable to play due to an unforeseen scheduling clash.

We are also proud to announce for the first time The Others Way will have an All-Ages Stage in association with Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa. Full details and tickets will be available later this week, while Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa are also taking submissions for bands to perform at the festival. The submission form can be found here.
