Grandaddy's Jason Lytle Announces Solo Album + Single

A few months back we got to wondering what had become of Grandaddy only to find out that they have been back touring this year after disbanding in 2006. Now frontman Jason Lytle has announced he'll release a new solo album - Dept. of Disappearance - in October and has let loose the first single and title track - check it out over HERE via soundcloud.
It's pretty unlikely we'll get any Grandaddy/Jason Lytle love down this way BUT you can get close below via these 3D clips of Lytle performing Grandaddy tracks recently with a French youth choir who created new arrangements for the songs.
