The Civil Wars Cancel New Zealand Tour

Alt-country duo The Civil Wars have cancelled their upcoming New Zealand tour. They were set to make their first ever New Zealand appearances in March but have cancelled all of their 2013 tour dates worldwide. No reason has been given for the cancellations at this stage but refund information for ticket holders has been released, see press release below.

THE CIVIL WARS NZ TOUR CANCELLED

Civic Events regrets to advise the cancellation of The Civil Wars’ upcoming tour of New Zealand.

The band has cancelled their 2013 tour dates worldwide, including dates scheduled to run in Australia & New Zealand from 6 March to 21 March inclusive.

Please see details below regarding refund information for existing ticketholders:

WELLINGTON

All patrons who have purchased their tickets either online or over the phone will receive an automatic refund back to the credit card used to make the original purchase; this will show within 10 working days.

Patrons who have purchased their tickets over the counter should go back to their original point of purchase to obtain a refund or return their tickets by mail to;

AUCKLAND

For all tickets booked online or by phone, the credit card used in the booking will automatically be refunded. Please allow up to 5 days to receive your refund.

If you made your booking at a Ticketmaster outlet please return to the original outlet where the booking was made with your ticket(s), I.D and credit card used to purchase in hand to obtain your refund.

For all tickets purchased through NZTix, tickets will be automatically refunded to the credit card used to purchase tickets.
