Press Release:

The Audio Foundation is excited to announce the launch of AFM - an online and low-powered radio station (88.3FM) broadcasting from the Audio Foundation in Auckland NZ!

AFM features fortnightly specialist shows presented by local DJs every Sunday and Monday evenings and broadcasts the amazing Audio Foundation MP3 library of NZ independent & adventurous music and sound between those periods - encompassing free noise, low-fi pop, experimental electronics, interstellar jazz freakouts, outsider folk, microfocused drones, mind-expanding field recordings, post-internet hypnogogia, subterranean metal and so much more, over 55 days worth of music!!! AFM endeavours to promote and explore high quality, distinctive visions in sound from both New Zealand and beyond - please feel free to join us!

Along with our programmes and the Audio Foundation library playlist we will be broadcasting selected events and discussions from the Audio Foundation venue space and in conjunction with exhibitions held at the Audio Foundation.

Please feel free to tune in!
