Listen: These New Puritans - Fragment Two

English four piece These New Puritans released their excellent sophomore LP, Hidden back in 2010, and singles like 'We Want War' and 'Attack Music' pushed them further into the aggressive, experimental post punk niche their debut carved out. If 'Fragment Two' is indicative of their third album - called Field of Reeds and due out in June on Infectious Music - we can expect a more orchestral direction: horn and string sections create an expansive whole here, while the rhythm section remains consistently minimal. Exciting times.
