Video: Boards of Canada - Reach For The Dead

Elusive Scottish electronic duo Boards of Canada are due to end an eight year hiatus this June with the release of their fourth studio album (and follow up to 2005's critically acclaimed album The Campfire Headphase) Tomorrow's Harvest on Warp Records. They've released the first single, complete with video clip and called 'Reach For The Dead' the two-piece take a trip to the desert. However, forget any of the happiness many other bands have evoked from this landscape; Boards of Canada take us on an anxious trip through an isolated landscape, insidiously building across the track's five minutes. If this video were to go for any longer it would definitely enter psychological thriller territory, which I guess, considering this song's title, makes perfect sense. Check it out below.
