Listen: Weekend - It's Alright

Weekend are a San Franciscan psych-rock band who are due to release a full length album, Jinx, in July on Slumberland Records. Today they've posted the single 'It's Alright' from the record and it has all the psych-leanings of San Franciscan compatriots Wooden Shjips and Moon Duo with dense, Horrors-like shoe gaze electronica. Someone in our office also suggested it sounds like the theme song of Charmed - The Smiths' 'How Soon is Now' - and considering the religious symbolism on the band's Facebook page, that's probably quite an apt comment.
