Listen: David Lynch - Star Dream Girl

A couple of weeks ago we heard the first single - featuring Lykke Li - from David Lynch's forthcoming sophomore album, The Big Dream, schedule for release this July. Today he has dropped another track, called 'Star Dream Girl' that apparently references this one time, in 1961, he went to see Jerry Lee Lewis perform in the Sagebrush Desert and he never showed up.

Lynch explains: "Jerry Lee Lewis was supposed to play at this big club in the Sagebrush Desert — I think it was called the Miramar. Back then, these big events would catch people’s imaginations...so we all drove out to this place, but Jerry never showed up and people were really pissed off. ‘Star Dream Girl’ has that same kind of charisma. People can’t wait to see her and come from miles around." Have a listen below.
