Metallica To Release Movie - Watch The Trailer

A lot of bands release a lot of tour movies, right? Well Metallica's forthcoming movie, Metallica: Through the Never, looks like something quite different. The band hosted a panel discussion at Comic-Con over the weekend and premiered a new trailer for the film that will be released in 3-D in October. The movie follows a delivery-boy - played by Dan Dehaan - who is charged with tracking down a mysterious piece of Metallica equipment. During his travels he runs into some apocalyptic, horse-riding gangs, and that footage is interspersed with an epic, explosion-based Metallica performance.
