Rainbow Chan is a Sydney-based solo artist who, with classical training in saxophone and piano, marries traditional melodies to kooky, off-kilter instrumentation in order to tell lush stories and has drawn apt comparisons to CocoRosie and Bjork. Her latest EP Long Vacation is due out on July 30th on Silo Arts and Records, and you can listen to it, in full, below.
Rainbow Chan is heading to New Zealand for two live dates, in celebration of the release of Long Vacation, in August. Check out tour dates and further information over here.
