Video: Parquet Courts - You Got Me Wonderin' Now
Brooklyn garage rockers Parquet Courts released a new EP, Tally All The Things That You Broke, earlier this year and they've just shared the video for single, 'You Got Me Wonderin' Now', off of that record. The clip is a quirky lyric-style video that follows an adorable little ghost that hops across Andrew Savage's words, which is quite informative: while most of the record is arguably about the hopelessness and alienation felt by today's youth, 'You Got Me Wonderin' Now' - with lines like "Toothache's better than heartache baby, I figured that much out / I thought I knew a thing or two about the blue, but you got me wonderin' now" - is a bonafide love song. Naww, check it out below.
Parquet Courts will play Laneway Festival in Auckland at the beginning of next year. Head over here for more information and for ticket information.
