Video: MGMT - Alien Days

MGMT released their third and self-titled album in September, and now they've shared the video for single 'Alien Days' from that record. Directed by Megha Barnabas and Sam Fleischner, the clip juxtaposes the lives of a 19th century couple with those of aliens living in an underground / alternate universe, and part of the plot suggests that the human world is feeding the alien world by giving birth to blue spherical objects that the aliens eat off of delicate spoons like caviar. Or something. Anyway, check the five-minute clip out below and try and figure it out for yourself
