Lead Up To Laneway: Kurt Vile - Wakin' On A Pretty Day Live On Letterman

Holder of a key to the city of Philadelphia, Kurt Vile, broke into popular consciousness with Smoke Ring For My Halo in 2011 (including beautiful singles like 'Baby's Arms' and 'Jesus Fever') and followed that up with his critically-acclaimed 2013 album Wakin' on a Pretty Daze earlier this year, and recently shared a mixed tape of songs that influenced his most recent material. He will perform at Laneway Festival 2014 (hopefully right when the sun sets and the air begins to cool #emotions) and you can check out his performance of 'Waking on a Pretty Day', backed by the Violators (amazing), on Letterman below.
