Off The Radar Festival Confirm 2014 Lineup + Watch Trailer

Tuesday 7th January, 2014 9:06AM

New music and arts festival, Off The Radar, have made their first official announcement including confirmation of the lineup. As we announced in September last year, the festival is being organised from Hamburg by the promoters of Germany's Fusion Festival and will take place just north of Auckland over three days at the end of the month.  A trailer for the festival has been made available along with the confirmed lineup, which you can find below, and introduces a few of the music acts along with the visual arts component - check it out...

Off The Radar Festival
31st Jan - 2nd Feb, Te Rai, Wellsford

Tickets available from HERE at UTR, Real Groovy and Conch Records.

Press Release:

A non-commercial festival taking place from January 31st to February 2nd at 181 Atkins Rd., Te Arai, Wellsford.

This festival is a collaborative effort in building a bridge spanning around the globe, from the US to Germany to New Zealand. Everything that has been set up so far has been done purely out of joined forces of private individuals, without any support by corporate sponsors or brand entities.

The musical lineup is a mixture of Indie, Hip Hop, Electronics, Drum'n'Bass, Folk, Blues and all kinds of "off the radar" stuff. Kinetic and visual artists will transform the festival location into a one of a kind playground.

The festival location has a capacity for about 3000 visitors and free camping is available right next to the main festival site.

Off The Radar is not your usual kind of festival. The whole crew behind it has a long standing experience with working on small and large events (e.g. The Fusion Festival in Germany) that always have a focus on being more than just a simple party to get drunk and and dance.

Three stages will be hosting a lineup of 30 artists. The dancefloor decoration, lighting and the booking will be planned and executed by our partner-crew “End Of The Line” from Auckland. Additional innovative light and stage design will be created by an german visual artists “Klappen” and “Dieselqueen”. Kinetic and fire art installations by Maja Explosiv from Switzerland complete the environment for an event you will still tell your friends about in a few years.

Music Lineup:

Astronautalis, BJ Morriszonkle, Blades, Captain Morgan, Cooper., Daedelus, Dale Rohan, Daniel Wilhelm, Dieselkaraoke-Rebell, FIORD, Formidable Vegetable Sound System, H.Heh, Inventive, jɛloʊ, Larry Bang Bang, Logan Baker, Made For Chickens By Robots, Madmotormiquel, Mal Webb, Marcus Carp & Sista Lexa, Mice On Stilts, Monster Zoku Onsomb!, Moppy, Nico Stojan, Night Gaunts, Orchestra Of Spheres, Sheep, Dog & Wolf, Simon Beeston, Sole, Soulflex, The Impossible No Goods, The Murder Chord, TREi, Uncle Barnie, Zayn Kemp
