Video: Cass McCombs and Karen Black - 'Brighter'

Cass McCombs released his most recent album, Big Wheel and Others last October, and has just shared the video for the song 'Brighter', which he recorded with the late singer and actress Karen Black. The clip was actually directed by Black's partner Stephen Eckleberry (who also directed her in a lot of her films), and features footage from her films projected over McCombs in order to suggest powerful, emotional themes like the reality (of lack thereof) of memories, and the tragedy of personal loss.
